Qualifications
My dedication as child counsellor is reflected in the extensive training I have taken over the years. My qualifications include:
-MA in Child Psychiatry and Social Psychology (FRG),
-Postgraduate Certificate in Integrative Child Psychotherapy Studies,
-Diploma in Child Counselling,
-Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in the Application of Art in Therapy and Education.
-Certified Cyber Therapist, trained by OTI
My training has provided me with a deep understanding of the psychology and neurobiology of child mental health and I am trained in the assessment, diagnosis, management and therapeutic intervention in the work with children.
I have experience working with children in various settings: Over the years I have worked as a nursery nurse, as youth worker, as parental support worker, as residential social worker on a children's secure unit and as child and adolescent bereavement counsellor.
I am DBS checked, a member of the Britisch Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and you can find me on the Counselling Directory.
